♻ Universal Mandate 🆕 New in ProNex 2026 Applies to All Categories

Best from Waste

Every project in ProNex 2026 must incorporate at least one element built from waste or recycled materials — regardless of category.

What It MeansYour robot, IoT device or model must use at least one component sourced from waste — a plastic bottle, cardboard, scrap wire, old PCB, e-waste part, or any discarded material creatively repurposed.
Why It's UniversalSustainability is not optional — it's a core value of ProNex 2026. Every category from Junior Robotics to Advanced IoT must demonstrate environmental awareness in their build.
Judging BonusProjects that integrate waste materials creatively and explain their environmental impact will earn bonus marks in all categories — plus be eligible for the exclusive Green Innovator Award.
Submission RequirementAll teams must include a 60-second "waste element" clip in their submission video — showing the material source, how it was reused, and its role in the final project.
Accepted MaterialsPlastic bottles, cardboard, scrap metal, old PCBs, e-waste, fabric scraps, rubber, glass, wood offcuts, used batteries (non-functional), discarded toys & appliance parts.
Best from Waste AwardOne outstanding entry across all categories wins ₹3,000 cash + Green Innovator Trophy + certificate — awarded to the project with the most impactful use of waste materials.
